Research

The Social Emotional Health Surveys were originally developed in 2010 and have since been extensively evaluated via university-school partnerships. We have made our best effort to substantiate the credibility, utility, and psychometric properties of these measures (primary, secondary, and higher education versions) through publications in peer-reviewed journals. The sub-menu items in this section provide information about these efforts.

We have completed analyses for Year 1 of the IES funded project. In September 2017, we will begin a three-year longitudinal study if students in Grades 9-11. With our WestEd partners, we will begin to survey a representative sample of more than 100,000 California school children.
